Quarantine

The month of April was WILD to say the least wouldn’t you agree?
Coronavirus, social distancing, facemasks OH MY!
Let’s be honest, these past couple of months have been one for the books. Granted, they are not books I would like to read again, but whatever. I cried a lot of tears, binged a lot of Netflix and ate a lot of food just like everyone else.
Do I wish I would have used all this time to form a workout routine?
Yes.
Do I wish that I would have used all this time to read a couple books or so?
Probably.
Do I regret how I spent my quarantine time?
Negative.
The time I had to do nothing wasn’t taken for granted and I did exactly that… nothing. I don’t really feel bad about it either… I did for maybe just a little bit, but then I got over it. I will NEVER get a chance to have that much free time again and I took advantage of it.
During this time a lot of ideas were birthed and I am so excited to start working on some new things. One of them is to make this blog better! If you are reading and have read any of my other posts you might have noticed a change in scenery… that is because I built a new blog site.
I am able to personalize this one a little more and make it better not only for myself, but for you as well. I am excited about the changes and I hope you are too! Something else I am excited to start trying is VLOGGING! I had the opportunity to do a fun project for my job, which allowed me to practice some video editing. Editing was one of the big things that was stopping me from vlogging, but now I am excited to practice and start working on a new project! I don’t know when I am going to get this going, but it will be soon! It’s time to start working out that creative side of my brain haha

“You grow through what you go though” that’s a thing right?
I think that we are all able to attest to that now that things are slowly going back to how they were. This time looked different for everyone. You may have been a quarantine rockstar and formed lots of good habits, worked out, had a set schedule, and just kicked quarantine’s butt. Or you might have slept until noon, ate a snack every 30 minutes, left your couch only to use the restroom or get more food and learned how to do the Tiger King version of the “Savage” TikTok dance. Or maybe you are somewhere in between. Either way, I hope that you grew in this season. I hope you were able to find joy in the little things and laughed your way through this hard time. That’s what I tried to do and I have no regrets, but I am ready for a new non-quarantine adventure. With all of that being said, enjoy my photo recap of this quarantine time!
Xoxo,
Em
